In an underground dive bar beneath the streets of Manchester, bar manager Josh is addicted to the adoration of revelling crowds, consumed by a lifestyle of chaos and excess. When his body becomes crippled by drinking and late nights, Josh must escape the world that possesses him and find purpose and meaning outside of the ‘wrong 9-5’ in order to save his life.

Shattered

Shattered offers an unrelenting glimpse into the life of British-Egyptian paramedic Mo, as he deals with the psychological whiplash of moving between traumatic work calls and caring for his new-born baby. After an incident saving a man who didn’t want to be saved, overzealous and callow Mo gives out his personal number as a lifeline; but as the emotional ramifications ripple, he finds walls that once separated him from the constant feelings of guilt, frustration and attachment, begin to crumble, as does his connection with his infant son. Set to the backdrop of a healthcare system in free-fall, Shattered, begs the question: who is caring for those who care for us?
